Michael Scott

Michael Scott

Michael Gary Scott was named Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton after a phenomenally successful run as a salesperson in the Scranton branch under the tutelage of Edward Truck. In his role as Regional Manager, Scott is responsible for executing sales strategies and marketing as well as logistics and order coordination for all of Northeastern Pennsylvania and parts of the Mid-Atlantic region. Known for his personal touch and affability, Michael Scott's leadership has inspired other employees that since took the leap into management, including Ryan Howard, Darryl Philbin, Jim Halpert, Andy Bernard, and Dwight Schrute. Scott was instrumental in the launch of Dunder Mifflin Infinity and contributed to some of Dunder Mifflin's most successful corporate initiatives, including The Dundies, Diversity Day, the highly successful Golden Ticket program, and Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Fun Run Pro Am Race for the Cure – now known as the Annual Dunder Mifflin Fun Run.

A lifelong resident of Scranton, Michael Scott enjoys improvised comedy, the internet, and screenwriting in his spare time. His screenplay “Threat Level Midnight” was submitted to several prestigious film festivals. He's currently married to former Dunder Mifflin employee Holly Flax. Scott is also the founder of the now-defunct Michael Scott Paper Company and appeared on the children's television show Fundle Bundle.

Dwight Schrute

Dwight Schrute

Dwight Schrute began his career at Dunder Mifflin as a salesperson, but quickly rose through the ranks to assume the titles of Assistant to the Regional Manager, Assistant Regional Manager, and, finally, Regional Manager of the Scranton Branch. His dedication and loyalty to the field of paper are apparent in multiple sales records he set at the company, specifically in relation to the now infamous launch of Dunder Mifflin Infinity where he single-handedly bested online sales in a one-on-one competition. Thanks to his influence, the Scranton branch was able to secure new advancements in wellness (specifically, CPR mask demonstrations), fire safety (he created the now-named “Schrute fire drill”), and recycling (namely: Recyclops). His adherence to facts and the truth in the form of straight-forward questions and rejection of anything false have become a badge of honor for Schrute.

Born and raised in Honesdale, PA to a Pennsylvania Dutch family of beet farmers, Dwight is currently married to fellow Dunder Mifflin employee Angela Martin. In addition to his tenure at Dunder Mifflin, Dwight enjoys a prolific career as a beet farmer at Schrute Farms, which is home to a renowned bed and breakfast. He's also the owner of the Scranton Business Park, which houses Dunder Mifflin Scranton. As a dedicated resident of the greater Scranton area, Dwight served as a volunteer sheriff in Lackawanna County.

Pam Halpert (formerly known as Pam Beesly) was most recently the Office Administrator at the Scranton Branch of Dunder Mifflin where she was responsible for procurement and distribution of all office supplies as well as internal purchasing. Her career at Dunder Mifflin Scranton began at the reception desk where she innovated initiatives such as the “candy dish” and Resolutions Board. Outside of work, Beesly-Halpert spends time sharing her considerable artistic talents. Her drawing of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch still proudly hangs inside the Scranton branch office to this day. She has also explored graphic design, and most recently, was hired by Dunder Mifflin to paint a beautiful mural commemorating the hard work and dedication shown by the Dunder Mifflin Scranton employees, as well as their lasting friendship and business relationships.

Jimothy Halpert

Jimothy Halpert

Jim began working at Dunder Mifflin Scranton as a mid-level paper salesman in the late 1990s after graduating from college. Known for his charm, wit, humor and people skills, Jim formed long-lasting business relationships with dozens of businesses and people across Lackawanna County. In addition to his sales duties, Jim also served as Assistant Regional Manager to former Regional Manager Michael Scott, and later, as Co-Regional Manager with Michael Scott. During the initial months of the Sabre-Dunder Mifflin merger, Halpert was integral in the search for a new regional manager that resulted in the hiring of now-former CEO Robert California.

Born and raised in Scranton, Jim enjoys cycling, basketball, playing ping pong, eating soft-shell crab, and playing pranks on his friends, family and co-workers. After a long courtship, Jim married Pam Beesly, a former receptionist, sales representative and office administrator at Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Jim and Pam now have two children, Cecelia and Phillip.

An avid sports fan, Jim amicably parted ways with Dunder Mifflin to launch Austin, TX-based sports marketing agency Athlead with former Dunder Mifflin Warehouse Foreman and Marketing Director Darryl Philbin.

Kelly Kapoor was responsible for all Customer Service interactions at Dunder Mifflin's regional branch in Scranton, PA. In her role, Kapoor successfully handled the unfortunate “watermark” incident of 2007, which led to her successful admission into the “Print in All Colors” executive training program for underrepresented Sabre-Dunder Mifflin employees. As a result of her training, Kapoor was better able to advocate for a more inclusive workplace.

Although her demeanor changed significantly over the years, Kapoor has long been known as a lively staple of the Scranton office with an impressive knowledge of pop culture and online shopping. In addition to imparting her opinions about celebrities such as Hillary Swank, Ryan Gosling, and Christina Aguilera, she was able to expose her co-workers to the wonders of the Diwali holiday as well. She has held a number of personal relationships with co-workers, including Ryan Howard and Darryl Philbin. As a reminder, her first name is Kelly and not Kelley, as it is occasionally spelled on office birthday cakes.

A proud graduate of Cornell University, Bernard often shares his a cappella singing and overall musical talent with his co-workers. He was previously a member of the Cornell University a capella group “Here Comes Treble.” Andy Bernard has been romantically linked to co-workers Angela Martin and Erin Hannon, but those relationships have since ended.
